Background

My testimony.

It is difficult to put my testimony into words, because I find it challenging to fully express how I feel. When I write it plainly though, I can convey exactly what my Savior means to me. He is my light and my strength. He is why I have decided to give 18 months to serving others. He has been my anchor when the storms have come in my life (Ether 12:4). He has given me everything: My life, my family, a chance to return to Him. The only way I can even begin to give back the smallest portion of His blessings is letting others know how much He loves them, and let them know how they can return to Him.

The gospel is true. I love the strength it gives me and the guidance it provides for all of us. The Book of Mormon is the foundation of my testimony. I love to read it every day and I want to continue to increase my Faith by learning from its pages.

I know God loves us, and wants us to be a part of His same church, which was established when Christ lived on the earth. This same gospel was restored through Joseph Smith and that same authority has been given to President Thomas S. Monson, who is a true prophet of God in this last dispensation.

I know Christ lives, and that He will live again. I want to live my life in a manner which will make me hope for His return to occur tomorrow. I can't wait for His return. I love Him. He is my Brother, and I will tell the world with a loud voice that He is our salvation and our hope in this life and in the one to come.

I pray for strength and His Spirit to be with me as I teach my brothers and sisters.

In His name, Jesus Christ, Amen.
